I’ve recently had to walk away from an opportunity because it wasn’t the right timing. Gosh, can there be anything worse? And don’t worry, it wasn’t a break-up. No sappy love quotes here! I’m learning that sometimes, no matter how much you try to make something work and how many back-up plans you draft in your head, timing is that key final ingredient. Without it, the whole thing isn’t right. It’s like a latte without the foam and cream puffs without the cream.

As another sun sets over San Francisco, I’m learning the importance of letting things go and not killing myself over how I could have made the situation work. Whenever things didn’t work out, my dad would ask, “Did you try your best? Did you give it your full 100%?” If I answered “yes,” he would reply back with, “Okay then.” And yes, I did try my best so it’s okay to let it go.

I’ve never believed in “perfect timing” but perhaps there truly is a time and place for everything. And when it is the right time and place, things fall into place effortlessly.
Do you believe in perfect timing?

Perfect timing, yes we have to wait for that… just like photography, we have to wait for the perfect timing, for the light and everything. :D Wishing you a nice day from SoCal.
