How’s your week going? I’m fighting off one doozy of a cold! I took a day off from work to just sleep. While I’m not a full 100% yet, I’m finally feeling like a human being again. Woohoo! And yes, this means we are back on track with the blog.
Today’s {color co-habitation} is all about simple understated elegance. I took this picture at a jewelry store called Esqueleto when I went to visit Temescal Alley in Oakland. It’s a beautiful space filled with jewelry from various designers. One of the first thing that drew me to this store was their beautiful shelf display. I loved how the shelf was arranged and their natural color scheme. Too often, shelf displays at boutiques give off the vibe of “trying too hard.” However, Esqueleto’s shelf was simple, elegant and natural.
This shelf definitely left me inspired. As spring approaches us, I’m excited to incorporate these colors into my humble abode. After all, what’s better than bringing a bit of nature indoors?
What colors are you planning to incorporate into your home this spring?

Wow I love this color palette so much! especially those browns and whites. And I know those are necklaces meant to be worn but I am really into the way they look just hanging like that. I could totally see that in a bohemian beach house. Great post, understated can be so refreshing!
